Become a Member-Owner
Help us build a new community-owned food store by purchasing a share of the Charles River Food Co-op. Becoming a member-owner allows you to vote at board elections, gets you access to member-only events, and when our store opens: lots of member discounts and more.
The co-op will be using the money directly from member equity to fund our development, for example: running a market study, promoting the co-op at local events, and outreach to the communities in Waltham, Watertown, and Newton.
Member-Owner Share
$200 (one-time)
Buying a share of the co-op allows you to directly invest in the future of our store and community. Being a member-owner also entitles you to a vote at our elections and to run for a spot on our board of directors, along with member discounts and more events once our store opens!
Member-Owner Share
$25 (monthly, for 8 months)
We also offer a payment plan to allow for member-owners to pay for their member-owner share over time. After 8 months you will have full voting rights and member-owner privileges. We’ll still keep you updated on all of the co-op’s happenings while your payments process.
